Who this policy is for, and who we are
This privacy policy applies to the Nanak Car Wash mobile application for
Android, distributed on Google Play under the package name
ca.tech1st.nanakcarwash.
The Nanak Car Wash app is published on Google Play by
Total Web Solutions Inc., the developer named on the app's Google Play
store listing. Total Web Solutions Inc. develops and operates the app and the servers
behind it at www.carwashapp.ca, and is the party responsible for the
personal information described in this policy. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our"
mean Total Web Solutions Inc.
The app is provided for the customers of Nanak Car Wash, the car wash
business whose washes, wash cards and wash club memberships the app is used to buy.
Total Web Solutions Inc. operates the app on behalf of Nanak Car Wash. Both parties'
contact details are given at the end of this policy.
This policy covers both the Android app itself and the pages the app displays from
www.carwashapp.ca inside the app, because most of the information described below is
entered on those pages.
The short version
We collect only the details you give us — your name, email address, an optional phone number, your vehicle details, and your payment card when you buy something — and we use them to run your account, deliver your purchases, and send you receipts.
Your credit card is never stored on our servers.
This app does not collect your location, show ads, or track how you use it.
We never sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
You can ask us to delete your account at any time — see Deleting your account.
What information we collect, and why
We only collect information you give us, plus the routine technical information every
online service records. We never buy information about you from anyone else.

What this app does not collect
Just as important is what the Nanak Car Wash app does not collect,
access or request:
Your location — the app never asks for it and never receives it.
Advertising identifiers — the app shows no ads.
Analytics or tracking data — the app does not track how you use it.
Your contacts, call logs, or text messages.
Your photos, videos, files, camera or microphone.
The only permissions the app asks for are internet access and, if you allow it,
permission to show notifications — which you can decline or turn off in Android
settings at any time.
How we use your information
To run your account and sign you in.
To deliver your washes, wash cards and memberships, and to process membership renewals.
To email you receipts and renewal notices.
To send app notifications about the car wash, including service notices and promotions — you can turn these off in Android settings at any time.
To keep the service secure, prevent fraud, handle payment disputes, and meet our accounting, tax and legal obligations.
We never use your information for advertising, and we never sell it.
Who we share your information with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with
the few service providers needed to run the app, and each receives only what it needs to
do its job:
Google — manages sign-in for the app and delivers push notifications.
Our payment processor — processes your payments and securely holds your saved card.
Our email delivery provider — sends your receipts and membership emails.
Nanak Car Wash — the business you are buying from; its staff can see the records for their own customers in order to serve you.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to investigate fraud or
protect someone's safety. Your information is stored in Canada; our service providers
may process it in other countries, including the United States, under their own privacy
commitments.
How we protect your information
Everything between the app, our servers and our service providers is encrypted in transit.
Your card details are never stored on our servers, and your password is held by Google's sign-in service rather than by us.
Our databases sit behind restricted networks, and access is limited to the small number of people who operate the service.
Please choose a password you do not use anywhere else, and tell us promptly if you ever
believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
How long we keep your information
We keep your account details for as long as your account exists. Records of purchases,
receipts, memberships and vehicles are kept for as long as we need them for accounting
and tax purposes and to handle refunds, payment disputes and fraud prevention. If you
would like your records removed, contact us and we will remove everything we are not
legally required to keep.
Your saved payment token is deleted as soon as your membership is cancelled, your card
is replaced, or your account is deleted.
Deleting your account and your data
You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time:
In the app — open the menu, tap Contact Us, then tap Request account deletion.
On the web — go to https://www.carwashapp.ca/app/support/nanak, or simply email paul@totalwebsolutions.ca from the address on your account.
When your account is deleted, we remove your sign-in and the personal details on your
account — your name, email address and phone number — along with any saved
payment card.
Records of completed purchases are kept for the accounting, tax and fraud-prevention
purposes described above — if you would like those removed as well, tell us in
your request and we will remove whatever we are not required to keep.
We aim to complete deletion requests within a few business days, and we will confirm by
email when it is done.
Your rights
We operate in Canada and handle personal information in accordance with the
Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). You can:
Access the personal information we hold about you, and ask how it has been used and shared.
Correct anything that is wrong or out of date — in the app, or by asking us.
Delete your account and data, as described above.
Complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca if you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information.
To exercise any of these rights, email

within 30 days, and we may first confirm your identity to make sure we are not
disclosing your information to someone else.
Children's privacy
The Nanak Car Wash app is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to
children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if
you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will post the updated policy at this
same address and update the date at the top of the page. If a change is significant, we
will also tell you in the app.
